Ross Video lanza Carbonite 2
Carbonite 2 is better suited to space-constrained environments, offering the power of a Carbonite 2 MLE at a more affordable price.
Ross Video has just added a new solution to its range of Carbonite mixers. The new Carbonite 2 is a 2 MLE mixer that includes all the standard possibilities offered by the Carbonite family.
Carbonite 2 is a new 2 MLE control panel based on the features of its older brothers Carbonite 2M and 2X, offering 16 source selection buttons instead of 24 or 32.
Nigel Spratling, business director of mixers at Video Ross, acknowledges that "the success of Carbonite has been simply incredible. All of our expectations have been exceeded, and we have already sold over 900 systems since its introduction. At Ross we listen closely to our customers to help us improve our products. Based on their feedback, we have designed Carbonite 2 to better fit into space-constrained environments, as well as to offer the power of a Carbonite 2 MLE at an even more affordable price."
Like the other mixers in the Carbonite range, the Carbonite 2 is available with 16 or 24 multi-definition SDI inputs and 9 internally generated sources. Carbonite 2 can also be configured with the new Carbonite+ and MultiMedia processing engines, and includes the new ViewControl touchscreen for production control and LiveAssist Graphical User Interfaces.
When purchased as a System Studio package with the Blackstorm playback server and Xpression graphics system, Carbonite 2 becomes a complete production solution.
