Ross Video X-300 y X350

Ross Video adds to its portfolio of broadcast solutions the new X series of Pan/Tilt heads, compact, silent and robust, along with two new Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras.

The first two models of the new X series (X350 and the X300) They are perfect for remote camera applications where the quality, flexibility and performance of a discrete head/camera/lens solution is required. With a payload capacity of 6,8 kilos, can handle virtually any ENG or Box camera and lens combination.

The range-topping X350 head includes several characteristics uncommon at this price level such as a 5″ full color touch screen for configuration, local control and the integrated tally. They also have anti-reverse gears that guarantee smooth and precise movements. In terms of connectivity, it is possible to connect several systems in cascade for power, control and genlock, thus simplifying installation. Additionally, the MotionDirector feature ensures smooth and synchronized movements, a very useful feature when producing virtual reality.

The base model X300 offers the same great performance and reliability, but without some of the more advanced features, at a price less than half of current models.

Bruce Takasaki, director of marketing products for robotics and cameras, notes that "both models are compatible with our free DashBoard control software. Considering the feature set, affordability, and potential for integration into a custom control solution, the X Series represents a highly integrated solution that is ideal for a wide range of production environments and applications."

4K UHD PTZ cameras

Regarding the latest 4K UHD PTZ cameras (PTZ-12G y PTZ-NDI) continue the trend in live production towards integrated cameras for almost all types of content. with a sensor 9.17 megapixel CMOS and 1/1.8 inch, these new PTZ models capture video 4K UHD at 60 fps and progressive HD, making them ideal for a wide range of production requirements.

The Ethernet interface allows for single-cable connectivity, providing remote control via the VISCA IP protocol, video output via streaming IP 4K UHD y power over ethernet, all through a standard CAT5E cable and without forgetting the option of following the route of the NDI workflow. The new cameras have been improved with the incorporation of a more powerful lens, with a range of 30x optical and 12x digital extended zoom, and an improved mechanical design to provide smoother, faster movement to ensure you get the shot.

"We are very pleased to introduce these new PTZ cameras and heads. Both the cameras and heads represent excellent value for money, and the addition of the free DashBoard control means that customers who work, for example, in corporate, houses of worship or legislative environments and who need compact and affordable remote camera solutions now have even broader options from Ross," concludes Takasaki.
