ARRI launches new accessories for Sony F5 and F55 cameras

Users of these cameras will now have base plate, top plate, shoulder mounts and an ARRI viewfinder adapter.

ARRI Accessories for Sony F5 and F55

ARRI continues to release new accessories for professional DSLR cameras and digital cameras. Now, it focuses on new accessories for the F5 and F55 cameras. Sony with base plate, top plate, shoulder mounts and a scope adapter.

Base Plate

Designed specifically for the Sony F5 and F55, this ARRI base allows compatibility with lightweight support patterns and includes the "Touch and Go 35" shoe. The camera can be quickly and securely mounted on any head or any other accessories with a standard shoe, for example, when working handheld. This shoe allows a studio configuration with bridge plates such as the ARRI BP-8 or BP-9.

Top Plate

The ARRI top plate offers multiple accessory mounting possibilities. An advantage is that an ARRI rear sight can be used in three different positions to optimize roll, although the original Sony one is also compatible. This top plate can be used in steadicam systems. Additionally, an optional 15mm rod adapter can be incorporated into the front, optically centralized with the hot shoe.

Viewfinder Adapter

The FA-1 viewfinder adapter allows the mounting of two Sony viewfinders to all ARRI 3/8-16” interfaces.

Shoulder Pad

The shoulder pad support, attached to the bottom of the Sony F5 or F55, using a thread, can be used independently of the base. When used in conjunction with the hot shoe, the Shoulder Pad remains in place when the camera is securely attached to a head with a base attached to the Touch and Go system.
