The 'Gandía Shore' phenomenon sweeps the second screen and social TV
The MTV Spain reality show produced by Magnolia TV closes its first season with an average of 768,200 viewers (3.7%), sweeping social networks with more than 1.2 million followers.
Last Sunday, MTV premiered the latest installment of Gandia Shore, the most successful program in the channel's history. After 14 episodes, the reality show has managed to break all audience records and has averaged a large 3.7% share and 768,200 viewers, which has contributed to a growth of 429% over the channel's average.

Since its launch, which made it the best premiere in MTV history with record numbers in all targets (4.8% and 956,000 viewers, target 4+), the reality show produced by Magnolia TV has consolidated its success week after week. Data that places MTV's big bet as one of the revelation programs of the television season.
A phenomenon that crosses the screen
The show's success extends beyond television. With 1.2 million followers between the official Twitter and Facebook accounts, Gandia Shore It sweeps social networks and becomes a phenomenon.
Furthermore, every Sunday the program monopolizes the social share on Twitter and manages to generate the highest television social noise* on the network in the majority of its broadcasts.
The MTV website has also seen its data increase thanks to Gandia Shore. The mtv.es figures have increased more than 100% compared to the previous year, reaching a record in December with a 300% growth in page views.
App ‘second screen’
Con Gandia Shore MTV Xtra was born, an application that turned the program into the first interactive reality television show. This revolutionary project for tablets and smartphones has managed to position itself as the best launch of a 'second screen' app in Spain to date.
With more than 150,000 downloads (reaching the Top 7 overall on Google Play and the Top 9 on the App Store) and more than 4 million contents served, MTV Xtra has recorded record numbers in just seven episodes of Gandia Shore.
Since its launch on December 2, MTV Xtra has had the support of its followers week after week, achieving a retention of 55% of users between episodes and very positive ratings.
