Gulli an iPadFrench communications group Lagardère Active is using SyncNow ACR technology from Civolution to power an advanced interactive application for your family of free-to-air children's channels, Gold.

The application, initially intended for commercial breaks, will later be extended to the rest of the programming.

In this way, viewers will be able to take advantage of new services on smartphones and tablets.

Antoine de Villeneuve, general director of channels at Lagardère Active, recognizes that "for the new generation of viewers, watching television passively is no longer worth it, as they seek socially attractive entertainment. We now have the opportunity to interact directly with our audience in a much more personal and intimate way. SyncNow from Civolution is exactly the type of technology needed to achieve this and go beyond simple linear broadcasting."
