The French group M6 begins the migration to an IP environment powered by Harmonic

Harmonic enables a fully IP ingest, output and storage workflow under SMPTE ST 2110 and SMPTE 2022-7 IP standards.

M6 Group, one of the main French communication groups and which has numerous television channels, will upgrade your ingestion, output and storage infrastructure with average solutions over IP Harmonic. Harmonic's broadcast and storage solutions, which offer support for the SMPTE ST 2110 set of standards for professional media delivery over IP networks and SMPTE 2022-7 for seamless protection switching, will expedite the broadcaster's transition to all-IP video delivery.

M6 Group chose the media servers Spectrum X of Harmonic and the system MediaGrid shared storage basado en su sólida fiabilidad y simplicidad de flujo de trabajo. Utilizarán los servidores de medios de Spectrum X para la ingesta de contenido, conmutación en vivo con gráficos, DVE, emisión 24×7 y revisión manual, con control manual soportado a través del controlador de vídeo Omnium of Broadteam.
