RCS launches LaunchPad touchscreen solution for real-time interactive graphical analysis
This customizable interactive solution is designed to simplify dynamic touch-screen analysis in sports broadcasts.
Reality Check Sistemas (RCS) has just launched LaunchPad, a customizable interactive solution designed to simplify dynamic touch-screen analysis for sports broadcasts. Combining proprietary RCS software with third-party hardware and data cloud, this solution allows for a wide variety of configurations.
LaunchPad features an easy-to-use interface that allows operators to access graphics on the touch screen for match, team or player analysis in any language and seamlessly transition between them.
Jeff Heimbold, VP of Business Development at RCS, notes that "LaunchPad is the culmination of years of R&D in close collaboration with our customers. Based on inspiration from our customers and years of interactive experience, we believe we have developed an accessible and intuitive solution that gives users all the tools and statistics they need in one place to achieve amazing interactive graphics solutions in sports broadcasting no matter where production takes place."
Available in any language, LaunchPad comes with a custom graphics package that offers elements (colors, fonts, logos, backgrounds,…) that respond to the client's desired aesthetic. A web portal also allows users to set shortcuts, settings, and preferences, translate text, change basic elements like computer names, and create manual charts from scratch.
This RCS proposal integrates seamlessly with Vizrt Engine and third-party touch screens to deliver an all-in-one set of tools to graphically illustrate real-time scores, results, standings, statistics and more.
A companion RCS Navigator app for iPad can be used to access and control LaunchPad from any network to which the Vizrt Viz Engine is connected.
Compatible with several industry standard tools, LaunchPad integrates seamlessly with video servers such as EVS and analytics technology such as Piero.
LaunchPad is currently available in Arabic, English, French, German and Norwegian. Leading networks such as Bein Sports, SBS Discovery and Sky Deutschland have already adopted a first version of the solution.
