Panasonic begins offering cloud video solutions with Aframe

Panasonic offers, currently only in the US, video production solutions for content creators that provide greater speed, security and efficiency on a global scale and based on the cloud.

As was evident at IBC 2012, Panasonic is advanced on the path of offering innovative cloud-based contribution solutions. Now, thanks to an agreement with Aframe, whose first steps were taken last year, professionals will be able to have a video production platform in the cloud optimizing their P2 workflows.

Con sede en Londres y Boston, Aframe ha prestado servicios para BBC, MTV, numerosas productoras de cine y televisión, empresas y agencias de publicidad en Europa y Estados Unidos desde 2009.

Michael Bergeron, Director, Development Systems Business, Panasonic Communications Company of North America (PSCNA), highlighted that “our partnership with Aframe will be an enhancement to Panasonic's popular file-based workflow, and will offer our customers a compelling value proposition across the entire P2 workflow without requiring additional IT hardware.”

Mark Overington, president of Aframe for North America, added that “professionals want to capture video content from their cameras and media management systems and immediately put it in the cloud, with a backup, so they can share it with team members around the world, thus organizing all the material more quickly.”
