The complete client-server architecture system allows multi-channel control from a single position, accessing multiple timelines at a glance for efficient management of different channels.

Pebble Beach StingrayTXNAB 2013 will mark the presentation for the first time in the United States of the new channel-in-a-box solution, Stingray, from Pebble Beach.
This platform allows you to put between one and one hundred channels on the air. Using a scalable approach, Stingray enables rapid deployment of a wide range of channels, including complex dynamic channels incorporating extensive source content and even multiple time zones.

Stingray has a sophisticated and uncluttered user interface that can cope with last-minute changes, and is multi-language friendly as each system fully supports Unicode. It has multi-format playback capability, and represents a complete solution for launching high-definition channels, and for SD channels that are necessary to play high-definition source material.

The complete client-server architecture system allows multi-channel control from a single position, accessing multiple timelines at a glance for efficient management of different channels. Stingray is currently available in two configurations designed for playout and ingest applications. Pebble Beach will introduce new additions to this product range in the coming months.

Eric Openshaw, general manager of Pebble Broadcast Systems in the United States, highlighted that “with a powerful portfolio with Marina as an entrance-level automation system, Stingray with an in-a-box approach and Dolphin integrated channel technology, we are able to offer a solution for every environment.”
