Pebble Beach Systems will automate the broadcast on Tv Globo

Starting in 2014, the Marina automation system will replace the internal solution of the three main national TV Globo channels: Rede HD, HD and Rio Fuso HD.

Pebble Beach Systems will implement its Marine automation system in the Brazilian TV Globo. One of the requirements on the part of this broadcaster is that the playout automation offered a very robust and error-free operation. To do this, the Marina system will be configured with fully Air Protect functions and controls for Grass Valley, main and Omneon backup servers. The entire system is synchronized with a complete backup system to maximize recoverability, availability and maintainability.

The Marina system will be installed with a dynamic interface tailored to the Tv Globo traffic system, with a MAM interface. The system will also include multi-location ingest, a sophisticated QA workflow, and controls for other systems such as mixers and graphics systems.
