Pebble Beach Systems renews its management leadership

Miroslav Jeras will be the new chief technology officer; Tamas Vass, marketing director; Jim Reid, director of operations; and Justyna Munnich, financial controller.

Pebble Beach Systems has renewed its management team with the appointment of Miroslav Jeras as chief technology officer; Tamas Vass, director de marketing; Jim Reid, director of operations; and Justyna Munnich, financial controller.

Previously, Miroslav Jeras served as Chief Software Architect at Pebble, and his new role as Chief Technology Officer gives him overall responsibility for the technology that will underpin the solutions its customers need as they transition from traditional broadcast infrastructures to more flexible IP-based technologies.

Miroslav is an active participant in technology working groups focused on the development of new standards, including AMWA, and has recently been closely involved in the development of the IS-07 standard. Previously he was senior vice president of research and development at BroadStream.

After serving as vice president of global sales at Pebble, Tamas Vass becomes general marketing director, with overall responsibility for strategic marketing and global sales. With a degree in Marketing and Electrical Engineering, he has more than two decades of experience in the broadcast industry, having held key account, partner management and strategic marketing positions at resellers and suppliers, including Vitec Videocom, Amberfin, Harris and Leitch-Tamas, and brings customer and market perspectives to the company's strategic planning process as the industry transforms.

With more than 30 years of experience in business management and administration, Jim Reid has assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. Since joining Pebble last year, he has overseen the creation of the Customer Fulfillment and Solutions Architecture teams, with the overall goal of continually improving the customer journey from initial engagement to ongoing support. Jim has over two decades of consulting experience working with a variety of companies assisting with strategic positioning, turnaround strategies and cultural change.

Group Financial Controller Justyna Munnich is an expert financial professional with a proven track record of driving business performance through business partnerships and insightful financial analysis and reporting. Prior to joining Pebble, Justyna held a senior finance position at Walgreens Boots Alliance.
