In order to strengthen its presence in the Media Asset Management market in broadcast environments, Dalet appoints Julien Decaix as general director of Dalet Digital Media Systems USA, Benjamin Desbois as international director of business development and puts Fabien Donato at the head of the company in Spain.

Dalet has renewed its management leadership with the appointment of Julien Decaix as general director of Dalet Digital Media Systems USA, while Benjamin Desbois will now assume the international direction of business development. Fabien Donato will take over management of the company in Spain, Portugal and Italy, while the current director in the United Kingdom, Chris Wright, will expand his management to the Middle East market.

With this reorganization, Decaix will assume management of the business unit in the US, succeeding Benjamin Desbois. In his new role, Julien will be responsible for Dalet's sales and marketing strategies for the United States, Canada and Latin America. At Dalet since 2000 and in the management team since 2006, Decaix was a key professional in the company's significant expansion throughout southern Europe and America, especially in the Latin American markets. In his previous position as general director of Dalet Spain, he obtained some of Dalet's largest contracts, including a multi-million euro project at Radio Nacional de España.

As for Benjamin Desbois, as the new business development director, he will mainly focus on expanding the Dalet business with the recently acquired company Gruppo TNT. Desbois was the architect of Dalet taking over some such representative facilities in the United States as Fox Sports, Time Warner Cable and NBC Universal.

Promoted to general director for Spain, Italy and Portugal, Fabien Donato will supervise the sales and operations activities in these territories, supervising the teams of professionals that the company has in Spain and Italy. Joining Dalet in 2006 as product manager, Fabien has contributed significantly to the success of multiple European news production projects, including the installation at Antenas 3 Noticias (Spain), a finalist this year for the IBC Awards 2010.

Finally, note that Chris Wright, current director of Dalet in the United Kingdom, will assume oversight of the news production markets in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, Holland, Belgium, South Africa and now the Middle East. Wright played a key role in the adoption of Dalet solutions at the British BBC, with which Dalet signed a framework agreement for publishing and broadcasting.
