Neptune and Anchor: Pebble Beach introduces improvements
At IBC'09, Pebble Beach Systems will showcase the latest developments in its Neptuno automation solution and Anchor media management supervisor.
Pebble Beach's Neptuno multichannel automation system will incorporate new tools to achieve greater flexibility in workflows. One of the improvements is total control over the material from ingestion to broadcast itself, with comprehensive supervision over the quality and delivery of the images. Neptuno is capable of managing several channels at the same time, drawing from a single common server, controlling at all times the traffic of the files and their readiness to be broadcast. Pebble Beach provides an integrated two-way interface with writing systems that use the MOS protocol. The graphical interface together with the news list provides a flexible solution for use with materials encoded in different formats and on various servers. The playlist, thanks to the MOS, allows you to play any sequence, even in parallel on several channels in an agile and fast way.
Pebbe Beach has also introduced improvements to the Anchor driver with new options for fault detection and immediate search for material among thousands of files on different storage systems.
