Matrox Video and Matrox Graphics come to NAB with answers to numerous lawsuits

Among the new solutions that the company will exhibit in Las Vegas are Matrox VS4, Matrox MicroQuad and Matrox Convert.

Matrox Video y Matrox Graphics This year they will share space at NAB 2012 to show their latest solutions. Matrox Video will showcase its live streaming production systems, scan converters, multi-displays, input/output devices and other developer products. For its part, Martrox Graphics will present new KVM extensions and IP video distribution solutions. Additionally several new products and other updates will be announced in Las Vegas.

Matrox VS4 is a quad HD capture and ISO recording card for Telestream Wirecast software on Windows. In a single PCIe slot, Matrox VS4 offers four independent HD inputs with up to eight built-in audio channels, per source. In addition to sending video sources to Wirecast for streaming, the card offers ISO burning of all original video and audio sources to disc, ready for editing after the event.

Matrox MicroQuad is a four-channel SDI-HDMI multi-display for 3G/HD/SD. This solution allows broadcasters and AV professionals using any HDMI display to display four SDI video signals along with different VU (volume unit) metrics.

Its scalable 10-bit engineering and advanced filtering algorithms ensure a crystal-clear, component-free monitoring experience. MicroQuad can be controlled using the buttons on the unit itself or remotely using a Windows-based application.

Finally, Matrox Convert DVI Plus is an HD-SDI scan converter that allows broadcasters to incorporate content from PCs, iPads and iPhones into news programs easily and economically. Ideal for creating professional-quality video from applications such as Skype, YouTube, Google Earth, FaceTime, ProPresenter, PowerPoint, and web browsers. In addition, Matrox Convert DVI Plus can be used to address large format projectors and displays at events.
