The Mexican Radio Institute (IMER) equips ten studios with AEQ Forum

AEQ's new compact digital console is designed for on-air emissions control and incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment.

Coinciding with the thirtieth anniversary of the creation of the Mexican Radio Institute (IMER), this agency of the Federal Public Administration created in 1983 to operate, in an integrated manner, the various entities related to radio activity belonging to the Federal Executive Branch, has undertaken an important process of technical renewal.

Among the actions that the IMER has carried out, the renovation of a dozen studios that have been equipped with the AEQ Forum compact digital console stands out.

The AEQ Forum is a mixing console designed for the control of on-air emissions that incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic monitor cut-off, cough cut-off, faderstart, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication...

Thanks to its modular design and small size, this console adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, studio control, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations and integration in large installations.

Simplicity and control power are combined in AEQ Forum to cover both the most basic and advanced operating needs, starting with a minimum control surface of 4 faders and can be easily expanded up to 8 and 12 independent channels with the standard chassis and up to 20 channels with the Grand Forum chassis.

The entire project has been coordinated by IMER's technical management in coordination with the technical team of AEQ's local partner, Grupo Diez Tecnología, in the installation, configuration and start-up phases.
