Viewers make more use of their connected television every day
People who have a smart television are increasingly connecting to the applications offered by these devices.
A study by TPVision, a company licensed to use the Philips brand in connected television, has just published a study that shows that around 72% of users use the connected services of their televisions at least 25 times a month.
43% of application use has to do with the need to access information. In entertainment, every minute, a rented movie starts on a Philips smart TV. At the moment, more than 110,000 hours of content are sold each month.
To make navigation on the smart TV easier, Philips has introduced remote controls with a QWERTY keyboard on the back.
Philips TVs also offer the MyRemote control app for Android and iOS, which includes an EPG for tablets.
