Panasonic Blu-Rays turn the television into a “Smart TV”
The new Panasonic Blu-Rays incorporate a Web Browser and Viera Connect and offer a Miracast system to share content from tablets and smartphones.
Blu-Ray players Panasonic They allow you to get the most out of any television. And in addition to offering one of the highest qualities in the playback of the Blu-Ray format, they also modernize the ordinary television by turning it into a Smart TV. This is thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi of the BDT330, BDT230 models and the Wi-Fi Ready of the BDT130, which allow us to offer web browsing services and access to Panasonic's Viera Connect platform.
With Panasonic's Viera Connect platform it is possible, for example, to make video conferences with Skype, access social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, games, weather forecasts, access more than 10,000 stations from around the world or the Wuaki TV video club service.
The BDT230 and BDT330 models also incorporate the Miracast system, which allows you to view any content from a tablet or smartphone on television, even sharing it on several screens at the same time. In this way, any television with HDMI input becomes a new medium for sharing photos, videos, games and much more.
Connectivity is also provided by the DLNA function that allows, through a connection to the local network and a compatible device, to access programs recorded on the hard drive with AVCHD and JPEG formats from other rooms in the house.
Simple and intuitive use is one of Panasonic's main axes in the creation of these three Blu-Ray models. And beyond the simple interface that Panasonic has designed, the Wi-Fi connection makes it possible to operate without the need for a cable connection. In addition, an application is available to turn your smartphone, tablet or iPhone into the player's remote control.
Panasonic has achieved unprecedented image quality in its new 2013 range of Blu-Ray. Its years of experience and development in this technology has allowed the incorporation of the Built-in 4K Up-scaling function in the BDT330 model. This function provides four times the Full HD resolution and is even capable of improving the definition of content that is already in high quality.
On the other hand, both the BDT330, BDT230 and BDT130 can convert 2D images into 3D. This is how it is possible to view a conventional movie or the content of the Viera Connect platform in three dimensions with the push of a button.
The design is another point in favor of Panasonic Blu-Rays: finesse and singular lines mark the aesthetics of these devices that go well with any type of decoration. On the other hand, and following Panasonic's “eco” strategy, they include an Intelligent Eco sensor that reduces energy consumption.
Also incorporated into the Panasonic Blu-Ray family is the BD79 model, which instead of having a Wi-Fi connection, incorporates IP VOD (Internet Protocol Video on Demand) to be able to connect via an adapter to home wireless networks. This means that it is possible to provide the conventional television with network access to be able to browse the Internet as if it were a computer screen. In addition, it also has the DLNA function and provides 2D images in Full HD quality.
The BD79 also features playback of a wide variety of formats such as MP3, WMA and AAC, as well as the uncompressed audio formats FLAC and WAV. This allows high-quality sound to be played from audio sources without any degradation in sound quality.
