Former Harris/Leitch workers, the Montalto team has reaped numerous successes in the development of innovative products in recent years.

Ross Video This Wednesday has announced the acquisition of Montalto, a research and development company based in Virginia Beach (Virginia, USA) and specialized in the signal roug.

The Montalto team will contribute Ross Video Experience, Innovation, a broad set of skills and deep knowledge of signal routing systems. Former Harris/Leitch workers, the team has reaped numerous successes in the development of innovative products in recent years.

The Ross Virginia team will assume the responsibility of advancing in the manufacturer's routing systems line, as well as contributing technology and products of the OpenGear products portfolio.

Mark Sizemore, general director of Montalto and now director of solutions for routing at Ross, stressed that it is “a great opportunity to join a team of so much leadership, committed, that has developed a culture of innovation and an attitude committed in client orientation and leadership in the market. It has been a dream for the Montalto team to return to our main passion, and we are able to do it again. that being attentive to the new additions of products and improvements in the lines of roses routing and opening from Ross ”.

For his part, David Ross, CEO of Ross Video, has been very satisfied with “incorporating the Montalto team in our infrastructure group, who are a large group of professionals who fit perfectly with our culture, a wide knowledge of the team and passion for routing systems, together with its project execution history, will help boost our routing business in the future”.

As a result of this acquisition, Ross has opened a development laboratory in Virginia Beach as a basis for operations for the development of routing systems. This new location is a third R&D center in the US together with those already existing in Boston and California. Ross Video also has R&D facilities in Ottawa (Canada), Brussels (Belgium), Hilversum (Netherlands) and Melbourne (Australia).
