Tangram Solutions has acquired the first Vtrack A-Class system in Europe from Promise. This turnkey SAN storage system has been acquired from Tangram by Broadcast Rent.

The Class A management suite supports incredible features such as advanced SAN system creation tools, online defragmentation tools, user quota support, and directory services such as Active Directory, Open Directory, and much more.

Highly scalable online expansion

VTrak A-Class allows adaptation to large expansion needs without the need for the system to stop working. Class A supports expansion processes with VTrak E-Class RAID units or expansion processes with VTrak J-Class JBODs, allowing more than 7 petabytes of data to be managed in Class A mode.

As an integrated, turnkey Class A solution, it eliminates the need for additional servers to manage your SAN system. With no additional servers, power consumption is lower, heat generation is reduced, and fewer fiber ports are required for your SAN system.

Class A offers extensive support in heterogeneous environments with seamless operation in Windows, Mac OS X and Linux environments without the need to resort to third-party support.
