BrainNews, Brainstorm's template-based news graphics solution, will now be compatible with the Octopus newsroom system.

BrainNews compatible with the Octopus newsroom system

The latest version of BrainNews, the news graphics solution based on templates Brainstorm will now be compatible with the newsroom system Octopus.

BrainNews is a fully scalable, MOS-compatible template-based graphics system that integrates into the news environment allowing journalists and producers to customize and combine high-quality, predefined 3D graphics within their workflow, without requiring ongoing support from graphics departments.

Integration into Octopus news systems allows their customers to consistently include BrainNews in their workflows. This allows you to use graphics and templates from BrainNews and Aston 3D, being able to choose them and open them directly for editing, incorporate them into the rundowns or even use the BrainNews Controller module to output them, within the Octopus environment.

Héctor Viguer, Brainstorm Engineering Director, highlighted that “BrainNews is a flexible product that integrates with the most common news systems, and continuing with this strategy we are delighted to announce its integration with Octopus, one of the fastest growing newsroom systems in the industry.”

Milan Varga, Customer Support and Technical Partner Manager of Octopus Newsroom, was very happy to "announce our partnership with Brainstorm. The MOS compatible 3D graphics solution BrainNews is combined with Octopus to provide a top-quality integrated news production system. Together we can offer a top-level solution for news production. The integration with BrainNews simplifies the workflow by allowing journalists and producers to assign graphic templates to their reports and create rundowns with great ease."
