Studer Broadcast Academy

Studer has just launched the website StuderBroadcastAcademy.com an online version of their popular training course, Broadcast Academy.

This learning program has become very popular in the United States in recent years and has been developed and enriched through multiple visits to customer facilities with a Soundcraft Studer mobile training unit.

StuderBroadcastAcademy.com is an interactive online course aimed at engineers and technicians, through which they can learn how to use Vista consoles. The training consists of a series of modules, which participants must complete and pass 100% to be officially certified as a “Vista Studer Operator”.

The course is structured in an interactive format and students can download the Virtual Vista software, which provides them with a graphical and active representation of these consoles. The Virtual Vista program can also be used for offline configurations and for online remote control of Vista consoles. The program is completed with videos, technical diagrams, a technical dictionary and many other resources.

StuderBroadcastAcademy.com has been developed in collaboration with the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS), one of the world's leading recording, sound engineering and music production schools. In addition, some of the most relevant Broadcast engineers in the sector have contributed their experience and recommendations during the creation of the course.

Once the course is completed, engineers and technicians will be able to access the educational content as many times as they deem necessary, either to refresh their knowledge or to use it as a direct help when operating with a Vista console. Additionally, certified Vista operators will be able to participate in real training sessions to improve their knowledge. Certified professionals will appear on the Studer website, in a database to which all sound and industry professionals will have access.
