Alliance between MOG and Active Circle

This agreement will allow seamless management of multimedia content, from ingestion to archiving.

MOG Technologies, developer of MXF-based tools, and provider of archive solutions Active Circle They have closed a collaboration agreement.

Through this alliance, MOG will offer a competitive offering by adding archiving capacity to its centralized ingestion solutions. In addition to simplifying the workflow architecture for its clients, MOG will now be able to address ingest projects from local broadcasters to large facilities handling thousands of hours of content.

The main benefits of integrating both systems are an integrated workflow from ingestion to delivery, completing the process with Hierarchical Storage Management.

In addition to a compact and modular workflow architecture, continuous data access will be possible as well as guaranteed data protection.

Another advantage will be the management of media throughout the entire life cycle in both the online, offline and nearline stages.
Thanks to this agreement, it will also be possible to efficiently manage multiple workflows at different resolutions through various storage technologies that optimize storage costs according to the needs of each production stage.

On the other hand, it opens up the possibility of using Proxy resolutions of the archived material for online preview and editing in non-linear systems, and then batch ingesting only the material used for finishing and delivery.
