Historic alliance between BBC and Atresmedia TV

BBC and Atresmedia TV have established a historic alliance. With this agreement, the British operator's first co-production in Europe is launched. The Refugees It will be the first Atresmedia Series fiction for LaSexta and the network's big bet for the fall. The series, whose production will be carried out by Bambú Producciones, will be recorded in English this summer in Spain and will have international distribution after its premiere on Atresmedia. Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, Cristóbal Garrido and Adolfo Valor are the creators of The Refugees.
Ben Donald, executive director of BBC Worldwide's International Fiction Division, has stressed that "what attracted us to this project was the idea of ​​growing our catalog outside the United Kingdom, while also being part of the creative process.
