Matrox VS4Recorder makes multi-camera production easy
Matrox launches free software aimed at facilitating multi-camera recording at concerts, sports and live events.
Matrox has just launched VS4Recorder, a software that will facilitate multi-camera recording in conjunction with Matrox VS4 cards for quad HD capture. This software is free and is especially designed for multi-camera production in concerts, sports or live events.
VS4Recorder offers producers complete independence in capturing four inputs connected to the VS4 to create files and use them with editing systems from Adobe, Apple or Avid, or archive them directly.
AVI files can be created using the Matrox MPEG I-Frame encoder. QuickTime MOV files can be created using DV, DVPRO, DVCPRO50 h DVCPRO HD.
Wayne Andrews, director of production at Matrox Video, maintains that “the VS4Recorder can also function as a multiviewer, offering flawless video quality as it monitors interconnected sources on monitors with progressive signals.”
Matrox VS4 Recorder is available for registered VS4 users.
