Matrox Monarch Edge is a low-latency 4K/multi-HD encoder that can be used with third-party cloud-based software to produce dynamic web streams and professional multi-camera productions.

Matrox IBC 2019

Matrox took place at their stand in IBC an interesting demonstration of multi-camera production and streaming based on your solution Monarch Edge.

Matrox Monarch Edge es un 4K/multi-H low latency encoderD that can be used with third-party cloud-based software to produce dynamic webcasts and professional multi-camera productions.

In this demo, Matrox Monarch Edge sent four 8-bit 4:2:0 SRT streams via a bonded cellular Internet connection using the field unit LiveWire SilverBlade II. These four SRT camera sequences were sent to the RazordLink cloud-based cellular demultiplexer, before being dumped to the Make.Tv live video platform.

Make.Tv received these four streams from SRT, carrying out their “re-wrap” in RTMP, before sending a total of eight simultaneous streams to the Vodalys.Studio cloud service and YouTube. Four of these flows were sent to Vodalyd.Studio for real-time video production, where the producer could choose the angle to send to the viewer and could add graphics and custom titles or inserts to the program stream. This program stream is sent from Volalys.Studio to YouTube.

The other four unproduced sequences were sent directly to YouTube. With five different streams to choose from, viewers could thus select their preferred angle, watch the final production or their choice of four isolated camera angles.

IP Extio 3 KVM Extenders

At IBC, Matrox also exhibited the KVM IP Extio 3 extenders that were displayed in aggregator mode, an efficiency-boosting feature for simultaneously monitoring and controlling multiple systems from a multi-display remote workspace with a single keyboard and mouse.

Multi-monitor controllers QuadHead2Go allow build dynamic video walls of the latest generation of any type and size.

On the other hand, the Matrox QuadHead2Go multi-monitor controllers gave life to a video wall made up of screens in different vertical and horizontal arrangements at the Matrox stand. This solution allows you to use any video source, with total scalability and flexibility. The new QuadHead2Go devices and controller cards can drive a single video source across up to four displays in classic 2x2, 2x1, 3x1, 4x1, 1x2, 1x3 or 1x4 rectangular arrays, or in a variety of other artistic configurations. Multiple QuadHead2Go units can be used in conjunction with Matrox or third-party graphics cards to build large-scale video displays.
