Disney shoots 'Tomorrowland' in the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia
Half a thousand professionals, including technicians, artists and extras, are participating these days in Valencia in the filming of the futuristic Disney project with George Clooney and Hugh Laurie as protagonists.
The City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia is the setting chosen by Disney to film these days some of the sequences of Tomorrowland, the factory's new film starring George Clooney and Hugh Laurie, and directed, produced and written by two-time Oscar winner Brad Bird (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol y The Incredibles).
The film raises the alleged sightings of flying saucers in Washington during the 1950s. Its protagonists, a girl, an inventor and a robotic girl, have to discover the secret that Tomorrowland keeps to try to save planet Earth. Although all the filming details are kept absolutely secret, both in the south lake and on the terrace of the Science Museum there are already metal structures that will house different filming sets.
In addition to Valencia, where filming ends, Tomorrowland It has been filmed in other locations such as Vancouver (Canada), Walt Disney World, Titusville and New Smyrna Beach (Florida).
