Ed Carroll, COO of AMC Networks, will lead the integration of Chellomedia into the company.

AMC Networks has completed the purchase of all Chellomedia television channels that are distributed in more than 390 million homes in 138 countries.

Josh Sapan, president and CEO of AMC Networks, said: "Chellomedia has a significant number of strong, well-established and managed assets around the world. We are excited about the long-term growth opportunity that this acquisition represents for AMC Networks and its shareholders."

Bruce Tuchman, president of AMC/Sundance Channel Global, will continue to lead the channel group's business alongside executive vice presidents Ed Palluth and Harold Gronenthal. Ed Carroll, COO of AMC Networks, will lead the integration of Chellomedia into the company, leading a work team that will also be made up of Alejandro Harrison, CEO of Chello Latin America; Mike Moriarty, CEO of Chello Central Europe; Dermot Shortt, CEO of Chello Zone; and Eduardo Zulueta, general director of Chello Multicanal in the Iberian Peninsula.
