AJA Mac Software v10.5.1 will facilitate work in post-production at high frame rates

The new software update adds Io 4K support for 50, 59.94 and 60 frames per second at 4K (4096 x 2160) and Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) resolution capabilities.

AJA announced this Tuesday the launch of the driver package via Mac software v10.5.1 that will allow working at high 4K/UHD frame rates with its popular AJA Io 4K I/O device with Thunderbolt 2 connectivity.

The new software update adds Io 4K support for 50, 59.94 and 60 frames per second at 4K (4096 x 2160) and Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) resolution capabilities. This support for high frame rate environments is essential for the latest 4K and Ultra HD workflows in both broadcast and cinema.

The v10.5.1 software also adds new support for the DataCalc desktop app, and progressive Psf selections in the AJA Control Panel software, along with format support improvements in Io XT, Io Express, T-TAP, and the Kona capture card line-up.
