Cinemagic digitizes its theaters in Mexico with Christie
Christie provides a range of Christie Solaria One+ and Christie CP2220 projectors to digitize seventy Cinemagic theatres.
Cinemagic, a cinema chain focused on building movie theaters in towns of between fifty and seventy thousand inhabitants in Mexico, has launched the digitalization of seventy theaters with Christie.
Christie has provided a range of Christie Solaria One+ and Christie CP2220 projectors for Cinemagic complexes, facilitated by Scrabble Ventures, a deployment entity whose financing of conversions with compatible DCI digital cinema projectors helps all types of cinemas make the switch to digital technology.
“With Christie supplying the highest quality digital cinema equipment and technical support, Cinemagic can now offer its audience the highest quality in film projection in each of the towns where we have a presence,” said Roberto Quintero, CEO of Cinemagic.
For his part, Ernesto Armus, general manager of Christie Mexico, has praised Cinemagic "in its mission to bring cinema to small communities without entertainment options in Mexico. We are honored to be part of its mission and are committed to supplying Cinemagic with the world's leading digital projection hardware, software and services."
Quintero has expressed confidence that "with dedication, effort and the hand of our strategic allies we will ensure the growth and consolidation of the project to continue successfully bringing cinema to the small communities of our country."
