Odeon integrates Christie's Cinity system in theaters in five Spanish cities

Six premium large format (PLF) theaters Odeon Multiplexes located in five Spanish cities will integrate Cinity Cinema Systems, a format co-developed by Christie that seeks to improve the cinematographic experience.

Cinity, system developed by itself Cinity (China Film Co.) in collaboration with Christie, is made up of a set of technological solutions that enhance the cinema experience with viewing capabilities 4K, 3D, high brightness, HFR, HDR and WCG, all paired with immersive sound.

He Cinity Cinema System installed in cinemas Odeon consists of two Christie projectors customized by Cinity; pedestals; he Cinity server, manufactured by GDC, and audio solutions Dolby Atmos y Christie Vive Audio. With a growing presence in cinemas around the world, now six flagship rooms of the Odeon cinemas in Spain (Girona, Alicante, Sambil (Madrid), Bahía Plaza (Cádiz) and Narón (Ferrol)) will receive this system supplied and installed by Ingevideo, a Christie partner, in collaboration with Cinema Equipment.
