Jan Koeppen, new president of Fox International Channels Europe and Africa

Koeppen will be based in the company's London office and will chair a business unit made up of 94 television and online services distributed in 88 countries.

The until now chief operating officer of 21st Century Fox for Europe and Asia, Jan Koeppen, will now assume the presidency of Fox International Channels (FIC) for Europe and Africa.

FIC cuenta con más de 1.625 millones de hogares abonados en todo el mundo y 64 oficinas, de las cuales 25 están en Europa y África.

For the last five years, Jan Koeppen has been head of operations for Europe and Asia at 21st Century Fox. In this role, he has overseen the group's portfolio of companies, including pay television operators Sky Italia and Sky Germany, associated operators such as BSkyB and Tata-Sky and pay television channels such as Star India and FOX Turkey (independent of FIC). Among its most notable achievements we can mention 32 business operations carried out in Europe and Asia, such as the creation of Star India as an independent operating unit, the acquisition of the majority of the shares in Sky Germany, the integration of Star Channels into the structure of FIC Asia and the sale of numerous non-strategic investments. Jan Koeppen is also part of the Board of Directors of Sky Germany, a company owned by 21st Century Fox, Tata Sky and FOX Türkiye.
