Fox International Channels (FIC) Spain, the multimedia company of 21st Century Fox, which distributes the channels Fox, Fox Life, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Viajar and the children's channel Baby TV on all pay television platforms, has acquired Eurocom Bradcast three IP arrays of the IPX series of Evertz. In service since May, these arrays are used to manage the content traffic of the new FIC broadcast network. The IPX matrices are located in different locations, from where the routing of content is managed through a high-capacity IP ring network.

The versatility of the IPX matrices, compatible with 10Gbps bandwidth, and their simple and fast management and configuration thanks to the Vistalink software, also from Evertz, have been decisive when choosing them.

The series of Evertz IPX matrices is part of the family of products developed by the Canadian manufacturer under the name SDVN (Software Defined Video Network), which includes, in addition to the aforementioned matrices, switching systems, encoders and transcoders, multi-screen systems and converters, all of them compatible with the IP protocol.

FIC produces and distributes 300 broadcast signals for entertainment, documentary, sports, cinema and lifestyle television channels, distributed throughout Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia in 48 languages. These channels and their new versions for mobile, VOD and high definition broadcasting reach more than 1.6 billion subscribers around the world. In addition, FIC has two production studios and launches thousands of hours of local programming for all its channels and partners.
