In its commitment to supporting documentary films produced in Spain, DocumentaMadrid It also aims to serve as a platform for its projection abroad.

To this end, the festival has created a virtual space through which 40 professionals from various countries will be able to access on-demand viewings of the titles selected in the Panorama section, along with other Spanish documentary productions released throughout last year.

At the same time, Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) collaborates on this project with the festival through its PICE Program, for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture, promoting the presence of several programmers from both sides of the Atlantic who attend the screenings scheduled at Cineteca these days.

Kornelia Theune, head of cultural programming at Canal Arte (France/Germany), Paulo Carvalho, programmer of the DockLeipzig festival and Inti Cordera, executive director of the Mexico City International Documentary Film Festival (DocsDF), are the guest programmers with whom accredited professionals will be able to close meetings to debate, present projects or simply exchange experiences.
