Vodafone creates the largest 5G user platform with its 4,300 employees

Vodafone's '5G Campus' will allow testing services, coverage and speeds of the 5G commercial network, as well as testing a new generation of 5G solutions and commercial use cases.

Vodafone Spain has created the greatest 5G user platform (Campus 5G) so that its 4,300 employees can enjoy 5G solutions and test services, coverage, speeds and other functionalities of the 5G commercial network. This platform will allow test new use cases in high demand and high capacity scenarios since more than 2,500 employees usually gather at Vodafone Plaza (main headquarters).

As part of this initiative, employees have received a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G that is added to the unlimited data rate at maximum speed that they already had activated. In this way, they can be the best ambassadors of commercial 5G services with ultra-fast speed, low latency and high capacity that have been available since June 2019.

This initiative is part of the the operator's strategic commitment to 5G services commercials available in 16 cities (Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Seville, Málaga, Zaragoza, Bilbao, Vitoria, San Sebastián, La Coruña, Vigo, Gijón, Pamplona, ​​Logroño, Santander, Benidorm).

In addition, Vodafone is developing 32 5G pilots in Andalusia, as well as pilots in Galicia and other communities in collaboration with companies and public administrations with the aim of testing the practical applications of the new network that will facilitate a new generation of services in multiple sectors and industries.
