IPTVIAB Spain, the Association that represents the advertising, marketing and digital communication sector in Spain, has created the first Higher Course in Connected Television together with Endemol Beyond.

Este curso nace con el objetivo de especializar a los profesionales del sector a crear modelos de negocio en un nuevo dispositivo: la TV con Internet. Tendrá una duración de 32 horas (4 fines de semana) y cuenta con un programa liderado por Francisco Asensi, director de Endemol Beyond, División digital de Endemol y Javier Clarke , director Mobile & New Media de IAB Spain.

The program is designed to understand Connected TV from its development and evolution, studying the different technological models (HbbTV, Smart TV, Navigator), new business models, market players, TV apps, commercial and advertising exploitation, the current situation in Spain, audience measurement or legal aspects.

El profesorado está formado por directivos de alto nivel en empresas clave del mercado como Javier Herrero (CEO de Magicbox Televisión), Pablo Varela (managing director de ADN Stream),Juan Antonio Orgaz (consejero legal de Canal Plus), Mª Carmen Heredia (directora legal de Entertainment One), Cristina Valbuena (directora de marketing de Adconion) o Paula Jordán (Mobile & CTV BD Manager de Smartclip).

For Francisco Asensi, Director of Endemol Beyond, "in the last two years Endemol Beyond has gathered valuable experience in the field of digital entertainment, allowing the company to provide a vision from the side of the audiovisual content producer. Collaborating with IAB to promote this market is the logical path to follow."

For his part, Antonio Traugott, general director of IAB Spain, has highlighted that "the film, music, press and entertainment industries have completely changed thanks to digital evolution, which now reaches the offline device that brings together 40% of advertising investment. At IAB, we want to get ahead of the changes by educating the market now."
