RIC Investor Forum

The creative industry is a sector with great potential, in constant transformation and growth, with a business network that generates social and economic development. The latest reports from the World Bank and UNESCO on the panorama of the creative industry and its companies show its growing importance and its positioning in territorial economies, encompassing activities as diverse as the performing arts, design, audiovisual creation and cultural spaces.

To promote, energize and enhance investment in the creative industry, the Santillana Foundation and IED Madrid form the Creative Industries Network, creating the I RIC Investors Forum, with the aim of being a meeting point between projects, innovative companies and investors with interest in the creative sector industry. The celebration will take place on June 29 in Madrid, and the participating projects and entrepreneurs will be selected from all the proposals received until June 1 through their page web. Participation is completely free.

The objective of the RIC Investor Forum of the Santillana Foundation and IED Madrid is to facilitate the relationship between entrepreneurs, businessmen and investors to promote, energize and enhance investment in the creative industry. To do this, it has the collaboration of the experts Smart Money (the leading startup and investor event in Spain) and Loogic (online learning and support community for entrepreneurs and startups).

The RIC Investor Forum will help selected entrepreneurs find sources of financing for expansion and seed capital, through the investors participating in the project, among which are entities such as Creas, Samaipata, Endeavor or Encomenda, and the public institution that supports entrepreneurship, ENISA. Participation is completely free. In addition, participating entrepreneurs, businessmen and investors will have access to a training and meeting program in June, prior to the 29th, the date of the RIC Investors Forum, where all those selected will meet and the creation of synergies and agreements will be encouraged.
