RTL Netherlands debuts an effective studio with a virtual wall in its news

RTL Netherlands has just launched a new news studio in which the main scenographic element is a giant virtual video wall in which graphics and images are presented with the help of technology. Run.
The installation has three virtual green panels, in which video and graphics are perfectly integrated thanks to Orad's ProSet Virtual Studio and Maestro systems.
RTL uses the ProSet system to key very high resolution content on each of the panels located throughout the studio.
ProSet extracts the camera and lens parameters of each of the five study cameras, sending this data to create virtual images. To ensure a perfect match of graphics and images, Orad's internal Infuse chromakey is used. Augmented reality elements are generated from ProSet, allowing RTL to create innovative visual effects in the studio.
For its part, the Orad HDVG4 rendering platform allows the signals from the five cameras to be processed together with high-resolution images and graphics. The platform develops a real-time render of all the complex 3D graphic scenarios. Both full screen graphics, tickers and other graphic elements are controlled from the Orad Maestro control application.
The playlist, with the virtual backgorun and on-air graphics, is generated from the Maestro News Producer plugin together with the system Avid iNews.
