Entertainment Equipment Supplies (EES) organizes two presentation and training days focused on Hog 4

Those attending these conferences that will take place on July 1 and 2 in Alcobendas (Madrid) will be able to learn first-hand about this new generation of tables, testing and experiencing their possibilities.

Entertainment Equipment Supplies (EES) organizes a presentation and training day on the Hog 4 lighting console on July 1 and 2 in Madrid. Barco.

One of these sessions is set up as an introduction to the Hog 4 consoles, and another will be especially dedicated to expert Hog programmers.

Attendees will be able to see first-hand this new generation of tables, testing and experiencing its possibilities.

Like the consoles belonging to the Hog series (developed by High End Systems, now in Barco), the HedgeHog 4 is powerful and incorporates the Hog 4 OS software, the same as the other devices in the range. Includes ArtNet (DMX 512-A lighting control transmission protocol), and CITP (Controller Interface Transport Protocol; open resource for the integration of displays, lighting consoles and media servers) capabilities.

HedgeHog 4 is the smallest solution in the range, but has the flexibility in small to medium sized lighting applications.

The console includes a 12.1-inch touch screen, two DMX and four Art-Net universes, ten Playback faders and many other functions. It runs on the Linux operating system and is fast, stable and capable of loading show files from any other Hog console in the range and vice versa.

The HedgeHog's connectivity includes MIDI inputs and outputs, MIDI Show Control and MIDI timecode via an external application, as well as including supporting peripheral hardware.

To learn about the possibilities of this range of solutions for lighting control, on Tuesday, July 1, EES will teach an introductory course to Hog, and on Wednesday, July 2, it will be aimed at advanced level users, with both trainings from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00.

The appointment will be at the José Luis Garci Integrated Vocational Training Center in New Technologies in Alcobendas.
