Teide Radio renews its confidence in AEQ
The radio station of the Diario de Avisos communication group remodels its two studios by equipping them with AEQ technology.
Teide Radio, a station belonging to the Diario de Avisos group, has modernized its facilities after twenty years on the airwaves. The Tenerife radio station has completely remodeled its two studios and expanded a third studio, providing them with improvements to be able to broadcast from any of them.
Eugenio Delgado, technical manager of Teide Radio, remembers that when the station was born in 1992 “we opted for the most modern equipment, such as the AEQ BC 2000 analogue mixing console and after so many years of reliability working with said AEQ console, we now decided to renew with the brand that had given us such good results for so long.”
After comparing several options on the market, they finally opted for the most complete and functional solutions, betting again on AEQ.
Teide Radio chose the digital mixer, Arena DM and D10, for the main studio, a table with infinite working possibilities of great power and versatility.
For the second study they opted for the AEQ Forum model. “This mixer, also digital, is sufficiently prepared to be used as a main or secondary studio depending on our needs, in addition to the possibility of connecting 4 USB ports that it detects as audio cards from a PC,” says Delgado.
The third studio, dedicated to the music station, has integrated a Capitol table. "It is a very functional and versatile table like the other two table models that we have installed, being able to use the studio at the same time so that it is live and making recordings. Like Forum, it has USB inputs to connect a computer and use them as audio cards," highlights Delgado.
All studios are connected to each other by fiber optics through a central AEQ BC 2000 D Router matrix, which provides infinite possibilities for connections between the three studios.
The remodeling has been completed with the installation of radio and automation software, AEQ AudioPLUS.
