VSN and ClassX complete MOS implementation of VSNCG+ graphics tool
The joint efforts of the two companies give VSNCG+ the ability to seamlessly integrate with any newsroom and set with a Newsroom Control System (NCS) based on Media Object Servers (MOS).
The close collaboration between the Spanish company VSN and the Italian ClassX has allowed the successful completion of the MOS implementation of the VSNCG+ graphics tool.
The developments in the VSNCG+ graphics VSN application have been carried out with the aim of making it integrable with any workflow, whatever its technical specifications. The MOS implementation carried out by ClassX allows the news production system to have full control of the newsroom graphics, and gives journalists the opportunity to remotely access the templates through the browser, edit replaceable texts and images, and preview the graphics and insert them into the news pieces directly from the software used in the news production system.
Additionally, the MOS implementation for VSNCG+ provides full ActiveX support, allowing users to browse, preview and edit templates in real time, at true resolution. The templates can be accessed directly from the interface of the NCS in which the user is currently working.
On the other hand, the latest developments for VSNCG+ have paid special attention to social media and the new forms of communication that have been developed in recent years. It is now possible to present tweets from the social network Twitter, Facebook posts and surveys in real time thanks to the integration with Spredfast flows and the interaction with second screens through the Parterre app. The integration of the SocialPlayer tool with the graphics editing and broadcasting tool allows multiple connections to be made and the creation of a direct communication flow with the audience.
Alessandro Messineo, Sales Manager of ClassX, recognizes that “the latest developments on VSNCG+ place the graphics tool as one of the most advanced on the market, capable of responding solidly to the most demanding visual needs of clients while allowing a fluid and stable integration with the world of social media, so important for the media in the new audiovisual panorama.”
On the other hand, Mariano Monteverde, sales manager for Europe at VSN, states that "we are very satisfied with what we have achieved with VSNCG+. Not only is it capable of integrating with any NCS, but it is also capable of incorporating viewer interaction from social networks, adapting set programs to the new social networks."
