Telecinco (15.2%) consolidates its leadership in October while LaSexta marks a historical high with 8.0% share

Telecinco with 15.2% share consolidates its leadership in the month of October as it grows one point and is once again the most watched channel by Spaniards. The group of public autonomous communities (FORTA, 8.2%) repeats the result of the month of September, standing out in the working days and in the after-dinner period. TV3 is the most watched channel in Catalonia and the results of Aragón TV, ETB2, Canal Sur and TVG also stand out.
This month, the group of pay channels is led by Fox (0.4%), followed by AXN (0.4%), TNT (0.4%) and Canal Hollywood (0.3%).
Television consumption per person per day amounts to 236 minutes, 10 minutes more than last month and 6 minutes less than in October 2013. Castilla La Mancha is the region that records the highest daily viewing time, while Madrid is the one that dedicates the least time to television.
Consumption through DTT (81.7%) drops four tenths, Satellite (3.7%) drops one and Cable (15.2%) rises seven. The Basque Country and Asturias are the regions that watch the most via cable, and the Canary Islands via satellite.
