WeLab is born, an initiative focused on digital image rental, training and post-production

The company directed by Pedro F. Fernández and Raúl Prior opens its headquarters in Madrid with 800 m² of facilities.

Thinking about offering digital image rental, training and post-production services, WeLab has just been born. The new company is the result of the merger of its two previous brands: RedLab and RedPhoto, previously specialized in the rental of RED and ARRI Alexa equipment, the first, and the rest of HDSLR, HD and broadcast equipment, the second.

The company, directed by Pedro F. Fernández and Raúl Prior, also opens a new headquarters at number 59 Albasanz Street in Madrid where it has more than 800 m² of facilities including warehouses, 5 “check post”, 1 digital check post, vehicle loading/unloading area, offices, post-production rooms and classrooms and exhibition area. In addition, WeLab has a work space where audiovisual equipment can be checked, a living space, a space for dissemination, testing, exhibitions and an audiovisual and cinematographic studio.

Starting today the web, where their equipment, products and services are presented. From this website, the user will be able to know each product in detail, as well as make an online material reservation or simply make a list of equipment.

WeLab also relies, as was already happening with its predecessor RedLab, on free advisory and consulting services, developing custom workflows, carrying out tests and camera tests for a specific shoot and optimizing all possible audiovisual resources at every moment of the production process.
