The Spanish company Cherry21 has signed an agreement with the platform Olympusat Telecom to offer the American market an encoder aimed at live streaming environments in continuous operation and with the capacity to manage multiple input sources and multiple output formats.
The OT Streamer developed by Cires21 will offer both current and potential Olympusat Telecom customers an innovative encoding tool that allows managing multiple input sources as well as multiple output formats. This new encoding solution for Live Streaming also allows editing and clipping of video streams in real time, the use of variable and constant multiple bitrate, transmuxing and the use of reliable UDP protocol for transport.
The OT Streamer has been designed for live streaming environments in continuous operation and is certified by Akamai, a leading provider of cloud services for the management of online content and business applications.
In the words of Carlos Ramos, VP of Engineering at Olympusat Telecom “The new OT Streamer will improve our online and OTT video platform with the highest distribution standards on the market for live streams in HD and with a wide variety of formats and multiple bitrates at a very reasonable price.”
For Cires21, this agreement not only means collaborating with one of the leading companies in the Live Streaming industry, but also represents a strategic collaboration in its international expansion both in the Latin American market and in the US.
Manuel Cardeñas, Business Development Director and founder of Cires21 highlights the importance of the agreement for Cires21, "we are very satisfied to be able to open two key markets for us with a leading company like Olympusat Telecom and we are convinced that Cires21's solutions will support Olympusat Telecom to improve current environments and open its products to new markets and new customers, which will additionally mean technological growth for our solutions."
