GolT trusts VSN to expand its continuity

The sports channel dedicated entirely to football GolT has just expanded its broadcast channel, in which it has once again used VSNMulticom, VSN's continuity automation solution.

The GolT sports channel has expanded the continuity solution already existing in its facilities, based on the automation software module of VSN, VSNMulticom. The expansion project has been carried out by Unitecnic, VSN's official integrator and distributor, and has been completed in a record time of just two weeks, ready for the launch of the channel.

For this project, new VSNMulticom modules have been incorporated into the existing installation. Thus, the same advanced functionalities of the GolT workflow are maintained: redundant automation system with control of external devices, which includes WTVision graphics generation, EVS video servers, Miranda mixer and Snell matrix. This extension of continuity had to be carried out in a very short time, since it had to be fully operational to go on air in just a few weeks, an objective that was successfully met.

Roberto Pascual, from VSN, has stressed that "VSNMulticom is a robust and stable continuity solution that at the same time stands out for its modular and easily scalable architecture. Which in the case of GolT has been crucial, since it has been able to respond to the needs of the new channel from the existing solution when they needed it, with the maximum level of redundancy and in a record time of two weeks."
