Riedel acquires the Swiss Tele Comm Sportservice

This acquisition reinforces Riedel's role as a key technological player in intercom for the development of winter sports.

Riedel, coinciding with ISE 2015, today announced the acquisition of Swiss communications specialist Tele Comm Sportservice. For more than two decades, this company has been a provider of communications solutions for temporary and permanent installations at live events.

Roger Hess, CEO of Riedel Communications Switzerland, maintains that "Tele Comm Sportservice is an ideal complement to our portfolio. The regional strengths and core competencies of this company established in the radio and communications market, especially in relation to alpine skiing, offer us a perfect vehicle for continued growth."

Riedel Communications now owns 100% of the shares of Tele Comm Sportservice. With this key acquisition, Riedel continues to become the largest provider of wired and wireless intercom solutions on the Swiss market. At the same time, the agreement will allow Riedel to expand its participation in international winter sports.
