See you later by Carlos Herrera
The journalist closes his stage after eleven years at the head of Onda Cero's morning sessions. Although much has been written about a hypothetical incorporation to Cope, Herrera acknowledged this Friday in his program that, today, he has the door open to "alternatives both inside and outside of Spain."
After eleven years in charge of the mornings of Onda Cero, and fifteen in the multimedia group, journalist Carlos Herrera said goodbye to his listeners this morning.
The director of Herrera on the Wave He explained that given the imminent end of his contract and the renewal proposed by Atresmedia radio, he chose to open a new professional stage despite not having "a single reproach with those who manage this house."
The president of Onda Cero, Javier González-Ferrari, according to Herrera, offered him to continue "and I studied it for a while. I considered it on a personal and professional level."
However, after thinking about it, the journalist has chosen to embark on a new course. "A cycle had ended and it should not be considered a tragedy or disloyalty. My intention was to say goodbye in June, but the house asked me that an alternative had to be put in place that needed filming. There was mutual agreement. After Easter, Carlos Alsina and my dear [Juan Ramón] Lucas are going to be here between 6 and 12:30 doing the radio that they know how to do, which is splendid."
With these words, Carlos Herrera has put an end to the rumors that have spread in recent weeks, although he did not want to specify what his professional destiny will be. Although much has been written about a hypothetical incorporation into Cope, Herrera has acknowledged that today the door is open to "alternatives both inside and outside of Spain. I give you my word that I don't know where I'm going...".
