Eduardo Olano, re-elected president of UTECA until 2026

The Board of Directors of the Union of Open Commercial Televisions (UTECA) agreed at its meeting this Thursday on the re-election of Eduardo Olano, representing Atresmedia, and Lucía Fernández del Viso, representing Trece, as president and vice president of the association for the period 2023-2026.

Lucía Fernández del VisoHe agreement has been reached unanimously of all the associates (Atresmedia, DKiss, Net TV, Real Madrid TV, Ten, Trece and Veo), as has been happening since the first election of Eduardo Olano in December 2018.

The re-election of the president and vice president in their positions is a commitment to the continuity of a project based on the condition of the Free-to-air television as a driver of the audiovisual industry, leader in influence, coverage and consumption, along with the defense of its social commitment.

Eduardo Olano is also president of Atresmedia Publicidad. For her part, Lucía Fernández del Viso is general director of Abside Media, a group that includes COPE, Cadena 100, RockFM, MegaStar FM and Trece.
