This contest combines humor and new technologies, among others, the use of drones.

EikenTalent 2015

Totem, a television contest that proposes entering an “invisible” labyrinth that the contestants will not be able to see, but the viewers will and that combines humor and new technologies, among others, the use of drones, has been the winner of the EiTB Saria of EikenTALENT 2015 that the company Media Attack will be in charge of developing and producing.

Yago Mateo, creator of the project, received the award from Clara Montero, director of Culture Promotion Basque Government and Jabier Arizkorreta, Miramón delegate of EiTB at the awards ceremony that took place on the San Sebastián campus of the University of Deusto.

EikenTALENT, organized by Eiken, the Basque audiovisual cluster, is a program aimed at new audiovisual talents that seeks to promote youth employment by acting as a bridge between educational centers and companies and which has, among others, the support of the Department of Education, Linguistic Policy and Culture of the Basque Government.

Together with EiTB Saria, which in addition to the production and broadcast of the pilot program entails a cash prize and a scholarship, this year two other main prizes have been awarded: the EikenTALENT Award for the best idea of ​​the 51 that have been presented in this edition, awarded with a training scholarship in a company in the Basque audiovisual sector, awarded to Sergio Juarros and Carolina Celorrio for the project Pintxe Pot and the BBK Award, which is awarded for the first time in this eighth edition of EikenTALENT and consists of a cash prize of 1,000 euros in addition to a training scholarship of 3,000 euros for a duration of six months for the best spot or branded content on the topic. The BBK, users and society given to Aroa Martin for his project BBK Bizkaia.

EikenTALENT 2015 has also awarded other awards for the most original ideas. These awards have consisted of several training scholarships, awarded by entities such as Bilbao Ekintza, Bizkaia:Talent or Donostia San Sebastian 2016, as well as FesTVal, the latter with free tickets to attend the professional conferences organized each year.
