EITB premiere las applications EITB News and EITB Desire

Basque public radio and television reinforces its applications, with one for news and another for on-demand content that will offer its content in Basque and Spanish.

Basque Radio Television From now on, it has two new mobile applications for news and on-demand content that replace the previous application (EITB). It is about EITB News y EITB At Will. Thus, EITB Media renews and reinforces its presence on iOS and Android devices, both for smartphones and tablets.

Arantza Ruiz, Director of News at EITB Media, and Lonzo Sainz, director of Digital Transformation at EITB, have been in charge of presenting these applications.

Sainz has given an account of the different characteristics of the new apps. For his part, Arantza Ruiz highlighted the work of the EITB group in the field of information. "Being leaders and references in information is one of EITB's missions. Offering quality, verified, and credible information are its pillars, and also working on immediacy, the closest information, and international news with the best team of professionals," he highlighted. “Radio, television and the web are making an effort in this endeavor and the EITB Albisteak application that we present today is a living reflection of this,” he added. Likewise, he highlighted that in the EITB Nahieran application you can see and listen to all the Group's radio and television programs. “Likewise, you can make My List, a personalized selection of each person's favorite radio and television programs,” he stressed.

They are now available

The new news application can be downloaded from the Play Store (EITB Albisteak) and from the Apple Store (EITB Albisteak). In the case of users who already had the previous EITB single App downloaded, the devices will do an update that will install the news application (EITB Albisteak). The on-demand content App (EITB Nahieran) must be downloaded from the Play Store (EITB Nahieran) and Apple Store (EITB Nahieran) as completely new for both iOS and Android.

To facilitate the choice of one of the two Apps or the installation of both, as desired, both applications show during use the possibility of downloading the other.

Las dos nuevas aplicaciones de EITB ofrecen sus contenidos en euskera y castellano, y han priorizado la experiencia de usuario para ofrecer entornos amigables de fácil y rápida navegación. Además, se ha incorporado la posibilidad de suscribirse a un servicio de alertas informativas con la aplicación de noticias, EITB Albisteak, y a notificaciones sobre contenidos de programas de radio y televisión con la aplicación de contenidos a la carta, EITB Nahieran.

Tanto en una como en otra aplicación se puede seguir desde cualquier parte del mundo la señal en directo de las 6 emisoras de radio from the group: Euskadi Irratia, Radio Euskadi, Radio Vitoria, Gaztea, EITB Musika and Euskal Kantak, as well as the broadcast of ETB1, ETB2 and the international channel EITB Basque.

in the app EITB At Will, you can see and listen to all the radio and television programs of the Basque public communication group. Likewise, you can make “My List”, a personalized selection of each person's favorite radio and television programs.

Television content has a search engine and is grouped by language and genre (movies, series, news, sports, culture, music, humor, popularization, documentaries...). Radio content is organized by station and program.

In addition to the two new applications, EITB has three other thematic applications for iOS and Android mobile devices: the young man (Play Store and Apple Store), for young people; 3kluba (HIRU3) (Play Store y Apple Store), para niñas y niños, y Go!azen EITB (Play Store y Apple Store), para el público infantil y juvenil que sigue la serie, con canciones y actuaciones de los protagonistas de la exitosa teleserie.
