EiTB begins its broadcasts in UHD through HbbTV

EITB - ETB1 ETB2 UHD - HBBTV

Hybrid television technology allows EiTB provide its viewers with UHD signals from its ETB 1 and ETB 2 channels, a pioneering movement in the application of ultra high definition on HbbTV in Spain.

Viewers can access ETB1 and ETB2 in UHD through the options visible in the HbbTV Hook menu. This side menu loads and displays for a few seconds after accessing the channel, and its actions are available as long as you do not switch to another channel.

In addition to the options already available in the red button (EITB digital platforms) and yellow button (view the program from the beginning), has been added as permanent functionality in the blue button of the remote control the possibility of accessing UHD resolution streaming of the channel's broadcast (only for ETB1 and ETB2). When accessing the channel, the logo will have the UHD badge to differentiate it from HD broadcast.

The aforementioned blue button, depending on the content, offers other additional options: for example, in the case of regatta broadcasts, las images from the mini cameras placed on the boats.
